Police say speed was a contributory factor in a fatal crash last night in Mansfield Woodhouse, which resulted in the death of three people.
The crash happened on Debdale Lane at around 9.45pm, involving a BMW, a motorcycle and a pick-up.
Detective Sergeant James Greely, investigating the crash, said the force are at the early stages of the investigation, but they do know speed played a part in the crash.
The officer also said that the driver and the front passenger in the BMW, and the motorcyclist died following the crash, with two back-seat passengers in the BMW, and the Ford Ranger pick-up driver were seriously injured.
