Two men from Birmingham who are believed to have travelled to Syria last year have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The pair, who are both aged 21 and from Handsworth, were detained at Heathrow Airport at around 3:30pm this afternoon (Monday 13 January).
They had arrived back in the UK on a flight from Istanbul and are being questioned on suspicion of terrorism offences relating to activities in Syria, at a police station in the West Midlands.

The 46-year-old was arrested on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation and malicious communications.
