Ansty Road in Coventry was closed for five hours last night after a crash in which a man was killed.
The 25-year-old local man died after a collision at the junction with Wyken Croft, close to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
Police say two houses were also damaged in crash at shortly after 10 o'clock last night.
