Police appeal for witnesses to Leicester stabbing

Leicestershire Police are appealing for help after a 46-year-old man was stabbed in Leicester city centre this afternoon.

The man was attacked shortly after 2:20pm in Granby Street and received injuries to his head and stomach.

Inspector Mick Edwards, said:

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, especially anyone who was in the Barley Mow Pub across the road from the scene of the incident around 2.22pm this afternoon.
