Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce has written to MPs criticising a government report on the future of UK airports saying it overlooked "the crucial role Birmingham Airport plays."
The Chief Executive of Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Jerry Blackett said he was "disappointed" that the Airports Commission interim report "largely overlooked the crucial role Birmingham Airport plays in supporting the local and national economy."
Mr Blackett has invited members of the Transport Select Committee to visit Birmingham.
