The leader of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce has told ITV News Central that businesses in the region are wasting too much time travelling to Heathrow for long haul flights to growing economies like China.
Jerry Blackett made the comments as the GBCC challenges a recent report by MPs, which the Chamber claims overlooked Birmingham when it advised a second runway at the airport should not be built.
