West Midlands Police have released details of a fatal fire which was deliberately started yesterday evening.
The man who died is thought to have been in his 40s and is believed to have started the house fire himself. He is yet to be identified.
After a woman and her two sons managed to escape Dudley blaze, Detective Inspector Simon Astle said:
They have been left badly traumatised by what has happened. Fortunately none were seriously injured. All three are being supported by specially trained officers and our investigation is well underway.
