'Dredging not the answer' says Wildlife Trust

The Worcester Wildlife Trust say that dredging is not the answer to river flooding.

In contrast to the views of many, they say they are compensating for dredging in the 1970's and 1980's, by allowing greenery to grow to absorb water and creating bends in waterways to slow down flow.
