A mother has been banned from breastfeeding her newborn baby in a hospital waiting room. Gemma Murphy says staff at the hospital of St. Cross in Rugby asked her to move to a private room to avoid 'offending' other patients.

Mother: People need to accept public breastfeeding

A mother who was forced to stop breastfeeding in a hospital waiting room has said more people need to accept women feeding their babies in public.

Gemma Murphy told ITV News Central that breastfeeding was best for babies - and people should not feel uncomfortable by it.
