Detectives have appealed for more witnesses after two men were robbed and stabbed in a Wolverhampton park on Sunday evening. Police were called to West Park In Whitmore Reans following reports that the men had been stabbed after confronting the robbers.
It is believed that four men had approached the group sitting in the park and stolen their bike. The men tried to chase the thieves who turned round and threatened them before stabbing them. Two men, who are 22 and 34, are in a stable condition in hospital.
We continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area of the park on Sunday evening to speak to us if they have any information.
"We are still trying to find the robbers who are described as black and in their late teens. It is believed they were wearing dark clothing.
