New information relating to claims of abuse by Jimmy Savile has been handed to the Department for Education (DfE) after documents were reviewed by the Metropolitan Police.
The claims that Savile abused children in more than 20 children's homes and schools across England are to be investigated by local authorities and other institutions.
Aspley Wood School in Nottingham and Bassetlaw School in Nottinghamshire are among the institutions to be investigated.
