15-year-old Ana Simeonova was found yesterday evening in Leicester City Centre.
Ana approached police after a member of the public saw her on a missing person poster and accompanied her to the station
Inspector Simon Preston of Leicestershire Police’s city area, said:
A lot of officers and staff have been involved in the search for Ana and related enquiries; and I am proud to say, on their behalf, that the team is all very happy that it has ended this way.
We will now spend some time talking to Ana to find out what happened over the past 10 days.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and remains on police bail.
Seven other men arrested have been released without charge.
