Hundreds of jobs are facing the axe at the Imperial Tobacco cigarette factory in Nottingham, it was announced today.
Around 540 jobs are on the line at the Nottingham site as the firm announces it plans to shut the factory down.
The plans are part of a Europe-wide restructure which would see 900 jobs cut between Nottingham and its site in Naples, France.
