A 12-year-old boy is in hospital today after being hit by a car in Staffordshire.
Paramedics were called to Main Street in Whittington, Lichfield, at 4pm yesterday to reports that the child had gone under the wheels of the car.
He was treated for a suspected pelvic injury and was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
The driver of the car, a woman, was shaken but unhurt.
