Two masked raiders stormed into a Coventry home and slashed a 12-year-old girl across the face in a terrifying robbery as they looked for drugs.
The youngster and her mother had gone to bed when the pair, wearing T-shirts wrapped around their faces, broke into the house, in George Park Close, Wood End.
Police say they were looking for drugs, but had targeted the wrong house - and when they couldn't get what they wanted, they threatened the girl and forced her mother to hand over a safe full of money and jewellery.
The girl suffered a cut to her face in the attack.
Among the items stolen was a locket and a lock of hair belonging to the woman's baby son who had died aged just two years old.
Police dogs managed to track the raiders to Roselands Avenue, but that's where the trail ended.
Witnesses or anyone with any information about the robbery, which happened on April 26, is urged to call police on 101.
CCTV footage has been released by British Transport Police of two people seen repeatedly crossing rail tracks, narrowly missing trains.
A couple were caught on CCTV walking into a store and moments later leaving with a £299 table.
He took them from a parked van - not realising it was an unmarked police vehicle.
