A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his ex-partner and attacking their two children at their home in Birmingham.
A 42-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the house in Woodlands Farm Road, Pype Hayes, yesterday morning.
Her 15-year-old son was also found with a stab wound to his chest, while a nine-year-old girl had suffered strangulation-type injuries to her neck.
Both children are currently being treated in hospital.
A 42-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his ex-partner, and the attempted murder of his two children.
