West Midlands Police has posted a video online describing the double murder of a man and woman in Solihull yesterday as a 'truly horrific incident'.
Chief Superintendent Alex Murray appears in the video, to say the incident is confined to one particular family, and to reassure the community.
He goes on to say that the 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the deaths is receiving 'critical care' in hospital.
