An award winning maze which is carved into a field of corn in Leicestershire each summer, will mark the centenary of the First World War when it opens this weekend.

The famous Wistow Maze has been designed in the shape of a Field Cannon, to pay tribute to the 16 million people across the globe who lost their lives between 1914 & 1918.

The maze features more than 3 miles of pathways in the eight-acre corn crop, and attracts around 15,000 visitors annually, and this year will open on Saturday 19th July.
