Several others from both cars were also injured in the crash.

Sgt Neil Higgins appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact officers on 101.

We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision in which Kristina sadly died, and our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this difficult time.

Obviously they want to know exactly how Kristina came to lose her life on that day and it is important that we are able to give them the answers they so desperately need.

I would urge anyone with information ? no matter how insignificant it may seem - to come forward. All details can help us piece together what happened.
