Drivers will have to make an eleven-mile detour to get to East Midlands Airport from Monday because of roadworks.
The junction of the M1 and A453 - which leads to the airport - will close between 8pm and 6am each night while a new carriageway is built.
It's expected to last for seven weeks. The Highways Agency says diversions will be in place but drivers should allow an extra thirty minutes for their journey.
