Two men who were discovered injured on train tracks in Birmingham reportedly fell from a bridge near the station.
Emergency services found the pair aged in their 20s with multiple serious injuries on the line near Birmingham New Street station just before 6am this morning.
It disrupted rail services to and from the station during the busy rush hour period.
At this time it is unclear how the men suffered their injuries and the incident is being treated as unexplained, while officers continue inquiries and establish the full facts as to how the men came to be on the tracks. We are looking at the bridge as one line of inquiry as to how these two men came to be there."
