A man has appeared in court after he got drunk and managed to sneak onto an empty plane at Birmingham Airport.
Lee Jezard from Worcester claimed in a press interview he had missed his flight to Ibiza last month, but the court was told he was never booked on any flight.
The 22-year-old crawled along the conveyor behind the check-in desks until he ended up on the airfield.
He was later discovered in the toilet by cleaners and he claimed to be the co-pilot.
He was ordered to pay a fine, compensation and costs totalling £621.
