Police have released dramatic footage of the moment a man with Alzheimer's driving the wrong way down the M6 Toll crashed into a police patrol car.
The car was reported travelling southbound on the northbound carriageway on Tuesday evening at around 10pm.
Officers stopped the 77-year-old's Honda Jazz between junctions T4 and T5.
In the video the police can be heard nervously saying the car was going to hit them, before a loud crash can be heard.
The man had earlier been reported missing by his family in Rowley Regis and was returned home unharmed.
