Wellington Fire Station have tweeted a photo of a Bullmastiff dog that was rescued from the roof of a conservatory in Telford.

The team, who are part of Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, said the case was the first of its kind.

Bullmastiffs are known for being a particularly large breed of dog, and can weigh up to 60kg - more than some adult humans.

It's not yet known how the dog got onto the roof.
