As a youngster living an ordinary life in the 1920's, Beryl Chapman was plucked for stardom on the international stage at the age of 11.
Now living in Jersey, Beryl taught herself acrobatics from the age of four.
She ended up touring with a circus troupe in America and entertaining audiences as far afield as Singapore, Japan, Hawaii and London.
Many of her exploits were filmed, but Beryl never got to see any of the footage, until now in her 91st year.
Wesley Smith was there as Beryl wound back the clock and relived memories from a truly showstopping career.
Make sure you watch ITV Channel TV tonight at 6pm to see Wesley Smith's full report.
