Biljon: Reds relishing chance to face former players at Ealing

Jersey Reds are relishing the opportunity of facing former players at Ealing Trailfinders tomorrow, according to their Head Coach.

Harvey Biljon's men head to Vallis Way looking to make it three wins from three in the Championship, having won at Richmond on the opening day and beaten Bedford at St Peter last time out.

They could come up against three ex-players with Nacho Lancuba, Jonny Bentley and most recently, Aaron Penberthy, all signed up at Ealing.

Penberthy joined Spanish champions, El Salvador, from St Peter in the summer but sealed a move to west London at the weekend after failing to settle in Spain.

We've evolved as a team so [the former players] won't have an insight into the way we're doing things. We've really changed a lot from last season. They're probably a little anxious about coming up against us so let's look at it the other way. We're relishing the challenge of coming up against Aaron and Nacho, we can't wait.

– HARVEY BILJON, HEAD COACH, JERSEY REDS

The Reds have been training on the 4G pitch at Springfield in preparation for the artificial surface they will be playing on at Vallis Way.

Biljon will be without captain, Pierce Phillips, and vice captain, James Freeman, who picked up injuries in last Saturday's win over Bedford but the club do not know how long they will be out of action for yet.
