Prince Andrew will visit Guernsey and Alderney next week, after poor weather stopped him coming across last year.
His Royal Highness will be at the Alderney Maritime Trust on Monday.
He is a patron of the trust and will be inspecting three cannon and other artefacts recovered from an Elizabethan vessel discovered by an Alderney fisherman in 1977.
The Duke of York will also meet Alderney States members, local school children, and members of the Alderney Lifeboat crew.
In the afternoon he will head to Guernsey to meet local Sea Cadets at Castle Cornet, as Admiral of the Sea Cadets Corps.
