The Chief Ministers of Jersey and Guernsey are in Westminster today, to answers questions on how Brexit will affect the Channel Islands.
Senator Ian Gorst and Deputy Gavin St Pier will be quizzed by the Lords EU Committee, which is looking at issues likely to arise during Britain's negotiations with the European Union.
They will be joined by the Isle of Man's Chief Minister, Hon. Howard Quayle MHK.
The group will be asked questions including:
- How did islanders react to the UK's decision to leave the European Union?
- What are the main political and economic implications for the islands following the UK's decision?
- Have EU nationals in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man expressed concerns about their status following the referendum?
- What implications are there on open borders in relation to the Crown Dependencies?
