The number of babies born in Jersey last year was one of the lowest this century.
The figures for 2015, just published, show there were 997 newborns.
The busiest year for the maternity ward was in 2012, when 1123 babies were born.
Grouville and St Martin were the only parishes in which a child wasn't born last year.
But, the number of deaths registered on the island has increased.
In 2015, 778 islanders passed away, 96 more than in the previous year.
The information has all been published as part of the States of Jersey Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships in 2015.
