Jersey's Corbière Lighthouse gets a facelift

One of Jersey's most iconic landmarks is being refurbished.

Corbière Lighthouse is being re-painted by Ports of Jersey staff, with the work expected to last 12 weeks.

The southwest coast landmark was last given a fresh coat of paint five years ago.

Not only is Corbière Lighthouse an extremely recognisable part of Jersey’s landscape but importantly it remains an essential navigational aid for mariners. Therefore, it is essential that the building is kept in good repair and maintained to ensure it remains highly visible at all times and the structure is preserved for future generations.
