Two special outdoor concerts will be held in Guernsey this month, to celebrate the Queen's 91st birthday.

The world's "number one" Abba band, Bjorn Again, will be performing, and revellers are being encouraged to dress in 70s and 80s gear.

It is happening on 17 and 18 June at Vale Castle, from 7:30pm-9pm.

The Head of Marketing and Events for States says the "historical" site is a "stunning" site for a summer concert.

We wanted to create an experience to be remembered with an opportunity to enjoy some great music from a world class band playing outdoors on a summers evening.

– Nikki Symons, Head of Marketing & Events

It follows the Killer Queen Concerts held last years for Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday.

Tickets are available from guernseytickets.gg and box offices around the island.

A 21 gun salute will also fire from Castle Cornet at noon on 17 June, with some historic sites offering free entry for the day.
