Thousands of cruise ship passengers will arrive in Guernsey today.
The Caribbean Princess and The Queen Elizabeth will moor at St Peter Port this morning with more than 6,000 visitors on board.
It is thought to be one of the busiest days of the year for the island.
The larger of the two ships, the Caribbean Princess, carries more than 3,500 passengers, and around 1,200 crew. Guernsey will be its first port of call on a 13 night around the British Isles cruise.
The Queen Elizabeth carries over 2,000 passengers with over 1,000 crew. The ship is on a 14 night cruise en route from Liverpool with Guernsey being its last stop before returning to Southampton.
The States of Guernsey are warning islanders of potential congestion throughout the day following the decision to use the Albert Pier and Red Light Arm area for parking.
They say that for anyone who would rather travel without the stress of parking, bus routes and timetables can be found at buses.gg.
