The annual Sark to Jersey rowing race has been postponed due to the weekend's poor forecast.
Organisers say the event is now scheduled to take place on the 5th August.
Last year's race, which marked 50 years of the event, was also postponed due to strong winds.
The course takes competitors from Dixcart Bay to the Paternosters reef, where they turn and follow Jersey’s north coast towards Bonne Nuit.
By the time they hit dry land, competitors will have rowed around 19 nautical miles.
