ITV News has learned of the possible sanctions that could be recommended against Deputy Andrew Lewis.
Deputy Lewis has been found to have breached the States code of conduct, following questioning by the Privileges and Procedures Committee.
The Committee says it will release a full report on their findings, including what action they think the States Assembly should take as a result.
According to the Greffier of the States, this could include:
- A personal statement of apology
- Suspension from the States for a maximum of seven days
- Formal censure
- A vote of no confidence in his role as Chair of the Public Accounts Committee (a role he has already temporarily stood down from)
