Jersey Reds new full-back Scott van Breda says anything is possible for the club this season.
The South African, who arrived at St Peter in the summer, was speaking at the Championship launch on Monday.
He represented the Reds at Twickenham alongside the league’s captains, although he has not been confirmed as their new permanent skipper.
Van Breda led the side in their only home friendly against Coventry, while hooker Jared Saunders took the armband as they lost 47-21 at Premiership giants Harlequins on Saturday.
The former Western Province man is one of 21 new arrivals at the club, which had their best ever season last year finishing fifth in English rugby’s second tier.
