The Norman market in St Helier will begin tomorrow after it was cancelled today.
Ferry cancellations by Condor meant the French traders could not travel to Jersey.
However, the organizers have said they will extend the market until Wednesday 20th December to allow the traders to stay for longer.
The cheese retailer will be ready from Friday morning but the other trader will not arrive until 4pm on Friday afternoon.
Islanders are invited to sample food and drink while taking in the festive atmosphere as part of the Fête Dé Noué celebrations.
Market visitors will have a chance to cook and sample some seasonal dishes.
There will be a range of stalls selling products including hot cider, sausages, croque-monsieur and clothes.
