The pilot and crew of a Jersey-bound aeroplane have been praised for their professional conduct when the co-pilot suffered a seizure.

The FlyBe Dash 8 aircraft was flying from Inverness to Jersey in August last year, when the co-pilot became unwell.

A report by the Air Accident Investigation Branch described how the other pilot took over controls, while the Senior Cabin Crew Member restrained the co-pilot.

The flight was diverted to Manchester where it made a safe landing.
