Organisers of this year's Jersey Triathlon say they are in urgent need of volunteers.

They are looking for 50 marshals to make sure the race runs smoothly.

The triathlon will take place on July 1st, with one quarter of the 500 entrants being off-island athletes.

The race includes a swim in front of Elizabeth Castle, followed by a cycle out to the West of the island and finishes off with a run around the Waterfront.

The triathlon is raising money for the Oscar Maclean Foundation.

The charity supports young people who have cancer or a chronic disease and their families.

Without marshal support the race would not be able to happen.

Anyone who is able to give their time to support the event can fill out this form or call 505926 to register.
