New laws could restrict the sale of e-cigarettes in Guernsey

Guernsey's Health Department wants to put rules in place for selling electronic cigarettes.

It's asking the States to agree new regulations as part of the Tobacco Control Strategy.

That's because it says evidence concerning the harms and benefits of e-cigarettes is evolving and there are worries they could be a gateway for people then using tobacco.

It's very important that products that people take that have drugs in like e-cigarettes are properly regulated.
