Watch: Reaction to Nepalese earthquake from Channel Islands

At least three Channel Islanders are safe and well after being caught up in the earthquake in Nepal, which is known to have killed more than 4,000 people.

Sheri Burt, Christine Smale and Leonie Herve from Jersey are all safe in the country which suffered its worst quake in 80 years.

The clean up operation is now underway, and both Jersey and Guernsey's Overseas Aid Commission are giving thousands towards relief efforts.
