Brian Little has confirmed he is stepping down as Jersey manager after five months in the role.
The former Aston Villa boss took over on an interim basis following the resignation of Jimmy Reilly in January. He guided his side to victory in the 100th Muratti at Springfield last month.
But there has been some disquiet over his reign, stemming from him being based in the UK and only meeting and training the players a handful of times a month.
Minutes after lifting the Muratti trophy last month, captain Luke Watson called for Little to be replaced by a coach who could spend more time with the players and watch domestic matches.
Now, following Little's departure, Jersey are facing their second search for a manager within six months.
