Bob the diabetic cat finds new home in time for Christmas

Bob was found by the GSPCA nearly a year ago and the team were unable to find his original owner.

It wasn't long before he was diagnosed with diabetes and after a lot of tests, his health improved.

10 months on and Bob needs a special diet and injections of insulin every 12 hours.

But despite his extra needs, on Saturday he was re-homed.

We always find the older cats and those with medical conditions more difficult to find good homes at the GSPCA as often those looking to adopt prefer younger cats or kittens.
