Duchess of Cornwall in Liverpool and the Wirral
The Duchess of Cornwall will tour Liverpool and Wirral today.
Her first stop will be 'The Beatles Story' on the Albert Dock. Her Royal Highness will unveil a plaque to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the creation of 'The Fab Four' before getting a tour of life and times of the iconic band.
The Duchess will later meet members of the 'Young Mums to Be' groups during a visit to the Teenage Pregnancy Peer Mentoring Programme at the Tranmere Community Project, Tranmere Methodist Church, Wirral. The project works with young parents aged 16-21 and aims to help them deal with the practical, financial and emotional issues they may face raising a family.
Later in the day Camilla will meet clients and staff during a visit to the Wirral Credit Union to mark its 20th anniversary. Wirral Credit Union is a not for profit, financial co-operative helping to provide savings accounts and low cost loans. The Union's main aim is to provide affordable and ethical credit to the people of Wirral.
