Police search for man in connection with Greater Manchester shootings

Greater Manchester Police name Dale Cregan, 29, as a man they wish to question following attacks on two homes which left a man dead.

A 46-year-old died during an attack on a house in Clayton which police believe involved gun shots and an explosion this morning.

Dale Cregan is wanted for the murder earlier this year of Mark Short, 23, who was shot dead at a pub in Droylsden.

Earlier today, police discovered the body of a man shortly after 10.30am at an address in Clayton, following reports of gunshots.

A short time later, at 10.39am, police received reports that shots had been fired at an address in Droylsden.

Police later confirmed connections between these shootings and the death of Mark Short.
