Cancer patients in two Liverpool hospitals have rated their care as 'excellent' or 'very good' in figures released by the Department of Health.
Ninety percent of those surveyed at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospital responded with the two most positive options.
The National Cancer Patient Experience Survey provides detailed information on the experiences of cancer patients at hospitals throughout the NHS.
Diane Wake, chief operating officer and executive nurse said: "We are very proud of our cancer services and are delighted by the findings in this survey.
“This feedback shows what patients think about the quality of care we provide and I would like to thank our staff for their commitment and dedication in caring for these patients when they need it most."
The Royal Liverpool Hospital provides care and treatment for the most different types of cancer in Cheshire and Merseyside.
