Manchester's Sarah Storey has won Great Britain's first gold medal at the Paralympic Games - breaking her own World Record.

Storey is celebrating after victory in the women's C5 three-kilometres individual pursuit at the London 2012 velodrome.

The 34-year-old caught final opponent Anna Harkowska of Poland after six and a half of the 12 laps to triumph.

She won her eighth Paralympic gold and her 19th Paralympic medal and she still has three more events to come.
