Second victim of coach crash identified

Surrey Police is now in a position to identify two of the victims who died as a result of a collision involving a coach on the A3 on Monday evening.

The coach driver who died has been named as 63-year-old Colin Daulby from Merseyside.

An 18-year-old passenger who died has been named as Michael Molloy from the Liverpool area of Merseyside.

A third victim who died has yet to be formally identified.

The deaths have now been referred to the coroner.

An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the road traffic collision which happened when a 52 seater coach was travelling north and collided with a tree after leaving the carriageway at around 11.50pm.

A number of casualties were taken to hospitals across theSouth-east and eleven people remain in hospital.

All passengers have been accounted for and a Casualty Reporting Bureau set up to help any concerned relatives has now been closed.
