"This incident has now taken a tragic turn and our thoughts are with the man’s family at this time. “It is clearly a very distressing incident and I want to reassure members of the public that we remain determined to establish the full facts. “As part of that we have established that there were are a number of people outside Chicago Rock on King Street at the time the man sustained his injuries. "We remain keen to speak to a group of women who were seen outside Chicago Rock just before the incident and I would ask this group or anyone else who may have been in the area between 1am and 2.30am on Sunday to come forward."
