Peter Andre has postponed a Liverpool Arena concert and a series of tour dates in order to be with his brother Andrew who is nearing the end of a battle with terminal cancer.Andrew, 53, is said to be nearing the end of his life and Peter has cancelled tonight's concert in Liverpool to be at his bedside.In April the singer brought his older brother from Australia to Surrey to access the best possible treatment possible for liver cancer at a research hospital on the outskirts of London.But it emerged that Andrew's kidney cancer had spread into his stomach and lymph nodes and doctors has said it could not be cured.A spokesman for the Liverpool Arena said: "His brother Andrew’s health has taken a turn for the worse and Peter has made the decision to be with him and his family at this time."Fortunately it has been possible to reschedule the five remaining 2012 dates on the ‘Up Close & Personal Tour’to take place following his pre-existing shows in January 2013."
Original tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.
Any ticket holder requiring a refund should contact the point of purchase as soon as possible. All refund requests must be received by Monday 7 January 2013. Any returned tickets will be available to purchase from the venue box offices.
