Emergency teams in Lancashire were forced to shore up a house after a car careered into it.

The incident happened in Astley Village in Chorley at around 11.40 this morning.

The Fire Service's Urban Search and Rescue team attended to shore up the building, which had been struck on the corner by the vehicle.

No one was trapped in the car and no one was injured.
